Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor, director, producer and teacher at St. Thomas University). Anna Silk is the daughter of a Briton, and an Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. In her early years Anna appeared in a number of commercials on television. Anna relocated to Toronto in November of 1999, in order to continue her acting career. After that, she settled at Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Anna came across Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actor's workshop located in Los Angeles, and they were engaged in the year 2009. Anna changed her religion to Judaism in January 2011 and the couple renewed their vows during the Jewish wedding in Fredericton.
