Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay was born on the 15th of September 1915, was raised in Ogden Utah. Fawn MacKay, born into the Mormon Church's original family, applied her brilliant literary skills and impressive research skills in order to write the psycho-historical biographies about Joseph Smith. The book, The book, No Man knows My History was published in 1945. The name was taken from the sermon title delivered by Joseph Smith in 1844. In the sermon, he shocked his hearers with his words: "You do not know me and you have never heard my heart. My history is not known to anyone. I can't tell. Fawn has written the 29-year-old Fawn. Since that moment, at least three writers have taken on the task. The documents do not lack however they contradict each the other. The process of assembling these documents, sifting through first-hand and third-hand sources, fitting Mormons' tales of the past to other people's history - is challenging. It's both thrilling and informative. FawnBrodie embraced this professional task with enthusiasm and energy.
